It is well worth going along the coast to the Gironde marinas, starting with St Georges de Didonne, down to Mortagne and Talmont and through the vineyards where Pinot des Charentes and fine Cognac are produced. The apartment is nicely decorated and has a front private garden and courtyard to the rear with garden furniture and a barbecue.
