Salers is officially classified as one of the most beautiful villages of France. Furthermore, it is the centre of the famous Cantal cheese and of the Salers cattle breed, which of course reflects on the gastronomy. In Salers, you will find nearly everything: various squares with terraces, small restaurants with regional food, galleries, and various museums. In the countryside, you can pay a visit to various cheese farms, this without any obligation. From Salers, which is located at a height of 980 meters, there are various shorter and longer defined hiking routes in this special natural environment, whereas the local Tourist Information Office also organises guided walking tours. Beaulieu is situated 75 km south west of Clermont-Ferrand. Both chalets that we have contracted for you are located on the small park Les Jardins de Thynieres. Lovely, well laid out holiday park situated on the shore of Bort-Les-Orgues lake. The chalets are constructed on a hillside and accessible via staircase and steep pathway. The wooden chalets are well kept. Each property has it's own grounds of more than 500 m² and have a terrace with garden furniture. Ground floor: 1 livingroom (TV (satellite), closed hearth, VCR, radio, CD player), 1 open plan kitchen (oven, dishwasher, washing machine), 1 bedroom (2 x single bed), 1 bathroom (whirlpool), 1 WC. The hamlet of Celoux with no more than a few houses is located 28 km. north of the city of St.Flour and 20 km. south of the town of Massiac. In the heart of the green region of the Mageride. It can be easily reached, as the Celoux is only 20 km. from the toll road (A75). An area with many possibilities, typical villages, such as Chaudes Aigues with its hot water spring of 83 degrees, the lake of Garabit as, which was designed by Eifel, the reservoir of Grandval, castles, museums and, of course, the city of St.Flour with its old centre with shops, restaurants and terraces.
