Restored to a high standard and retaining many original features, the cottage is spacious and well decorated. The light and airy living room has French windows opening onto the terrace. The well designed, open plan, fitted kitchen has cooker, dishwasher, fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave and a dining area. The pretty lounge has a sofa and a single sofabed in front of a period fireplace. The double bedroom is nicely decorated and the bathroom has a large bath and wc. Use of washing machine. Bed linen included and beds made on arrival.

Spacious house with beautiful views Position: Mussidan is five miles away with its shops and local market. It is ideal to explore the famous surroundings or to cycle through the dense forest and the many lakes of the region. This area of the Dordogne inspires poets, potters and painters because of the colours, beauty and variety of countryside. Périgueux, Brantome, Bergerac and Saint Emilion are within easy reach. Situated in a small hamlet, the self-contained cottage has a terrace with garden furniture, umbrella and built in barbecue overlooking extensive gardens. The long unusual swimming pool (15x2m 01/05-30/09) is ideal for serious swimming.
