Several other ‘bastide’ towns to visit in the area as well as the vineyards of Bergerac. Sarlat is about an hour’s drive away to the east along the Dordogne valley. Set in extensive and enclosed private grounds of some 40 acres with a fresh water spring and stream which can be explored on foot or by using the three mountain bikes which are provided. Large grassed garden area outside the house, ideal for childrens’games together with a private pool (10x5m with security alarm) with garden furniture, barbecue and table tennis.
